History Repeats Itself

They say that, history repeats itself!  The Old Testament in the Bible talks about the people that were called by God, ( the Israelites) and how they taught their children about the Lord and all that He had done for them.   Through history the Israelites quit worshipping God and obeying Him.  God took His protection off of the Israelites and they were captured and put into slavery.  When the Israelites realized that they needed God, they cried out to God and asked forgiveness.  The Lord redeemed the Israelites and gave them a promised Land.It is a vicious cycle that not only happens time and time again to the Israelites, but also to America.  When we do not follow God and his ways, we will not be blessed !  The Creator of the Universe wants us to seek him and His ways, (His ways are better than our ways.)  Psalms 18:30God wants us to read the Bible, ( His road map for a successful life) and to tell our children about it.)  To pass it on to our Ancestors.  Deuteronomy 6:7

God wants us to seek him through prayer and teach our children this.  Thessalonians 5:17

God wants us to worship him with other believers and to teach our children this.1 Chronicles 16:23-31

God wants to be the center of our life and for us to have no other gods accept him.Exodus 20:3

THESE ARE THE KEYS TO A BLESSED LIFE !

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or stand in the way of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers.   But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.  He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.  Whatever he does prospers.  Not so the wicked!  They are like chaff that the wind blows away.  Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.  For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.  Psalm 1:1-6
