The veil is torn !!

It never ceases to amaze me, my faith grows more and more when I read the bible !! The Bible says, “Faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of God.”  Romans 10:17

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate from the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden,  man/woman had caused the first sin (which caused separation from God.)

The people of God were told to sacrifice animals to be forgiven of their sins. And through history we see that shedding of blood from a spotless and pure animal is what God required of His people.  Each time blood was shed, it reminded the people of life and death. (Found in Leviticus 17:11.)

When King Solomon built the temple of God, there was a veil separating the earthly dwelling place where men dwelt. Only the high priest was permitted to pass beyond the veil (once every year) to make atonement for the sins of the people.  The veil was 60 feet high and 4 inches thick. (Found in Exodus 30:10.)

The moment that Jesus was crucified on the cross and gave up His spirit, the veil was torn from top to bottom !! Matthew 27:50-51a.  The reason why it is so important to know this is, because Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice of our sins. Jesus paid the total price!  Jesus shed His blood on the cross,  to allow us to come freely to God and to be forgiven.  He was the spotless lamb of God, who became the sacrifice for all mankind.

I am so eternally grateful that He loved me so much to sacrifice Himself, so that I may have an everlasting relationship with God.  And to have the choice to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father.

If you have not done so, please read these verses in the bible have mentioned and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins (disobeying God.) Confess that you believe what He had done for you and for me on the cross and thank Him. Ask Him to come into your heart and cleanse you from all unrighteousness and change you.  Getting involved in a church that believes “Jesus died and is the Savior of the world.”  This is the most important decision that ever can be made !

Reading the bible, pray (relationship with God) and fellowship with other believers is vital !

Thank you for taking the time to read this and God Bless you !!!

The meaning of true LOVE !!!

To all those reading this that have a boyfriend, husband, wife or that are alone. We all feel alone at some point in time in our life !! The truth is no matter how you feel- you and I are not alone!!

God’s son; Jesus Christ was born of flesh and blood, lived a life as an example to you and me. He taught people how to live a pure life (it is recorded in the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in the Bible.) Jesus healed those afflicted with diseases and even brought the dead back to life. There were witnesses that saw these miracles!

Jesus was arrested for “conspiring against the Roman government” and later cleared of the charges. But Pontius Pilate whom was in charge; asked the people, (the Jews) if Jesus should be released or another prisoner (named Barabbas.) In the book of Mark 15:11 (it says that the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have Barabbas released instead.)
Jesus later was put to death on a cross, the most horrible death ! Nails were driven into the palms of his hands and feet, and he hung on the cross until his death. At any time he had the power to escape such a death, but he knew that this was the only way! You see, God the father required a blood sacrifice for the sins of man-kind. Jesus (God’s son) was the ultimate blood sacrifice for our sinful nature.

That is why this verse is SO important to read and to know:
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

That is why if you have not done this today, I invite you to pray this important prayer!
Dear God; forgive me for not following your ways. I turn from doing things my way and want to do things your way. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me.  Please fill me with your Holy Spirit and guide me to follow your ways.  In Jesus name I ask this.  Amen

Please get involved in a Christian Church to help you in your new life as a believer !

Tough Times

Bible verse

Are you going through something in your life that is so hard to endure? Most of us are going through something that is tough to face or that has been tough to handle. A divorce, losing a loved one, losing your property, losing a job or even having cancer.

I lost a dad and grandfather due to cancer, I lost my boyfriend due to a drug overdose, my house went into foreclosure, I have been through a divorce and temporarily lost custody of my kids. I know what pain feels like!

There was a time when I was angry at God! Then I realized that He was not the one I should be angry with. I am not going to say I have all the answers. But I finally realized by going to church, reading my Bible and listening to teachings on television that; God is our Heavenly Father and He wants to comfort us and help us through all that we are going through in life.   Found in Deuteronomy 31:6

God wants to have a relationship with us (just like a Father.) But better, (from now and through eternity.)
He is not there just when we need help or have a problem. If you believe that God's son (Jesus suffered and died on the cross to forgive us of our sins.) Jesus was the complete and total sacrifice to make atonement for our sins, because He was without sin.                                  Found in 1 John 2:2

If we have asked Jesus to forgive us of our sins, to cleanse us from all unrighteousness and help us to live for Him ( God's Holy Spirit will come live inside us.)    Found in Luke 5:32

The Bible says that, "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows.) Jesus came to give us abundant life!!     Found in John 10:10

Start by reading the Bible everyday, get involved in a Christ believing church and talking with the Lord on a regular basis. This will totally change your life for the better. May the Lord Bless you and your new walk with Him

Road to Damascus

Jesus was born of a virgin named Mary. (This was God’s son). Jesus performed many miracles and He taught people to repent and that if they believed in him they would have eternal life.

Jesus was accused of blasphemy and he suffered and died on the cross for the sins of the world. The apostles and 500 others witnessed Jesus resurrection and ascension into heaven.

Saul was a Jewish rabbi, he was one of the people that began persecuting the Christian believers and he was involved in some of their killings.

Saul hunted Christians down and had them put in jail. Saul went to Damascus, when he came near the city, a bright light from heaven suddenly shined around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, ” Saul, Saul ! Why are you persecuting me?”

Saul said, ” Who are you Lord?” The voice answered, ” I am Jesus, The one you are persecuting. Get up now and going to the city. Someone there will tell you what you must do.”

The men traveling with Saul just stood there speechless, they heard the sound but did not see anyone. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing.
So they lead him by the hand into Damascus. For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything.

In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. In a vision the Lord said to him, “Ananias!” Ananias answered, ” Here I am Lord.” The Lord said to him, ” Get up and go to the street called straight straight. Find the house of Judas and ask him for a man named Saul from the city of Tarsus. He is there now praying. He has seen a vision in which a man named Ananias came and laid hands on him so that he could see again. ”

But Ananias answered,” Lord many people have told me about this man. They told me about the many bad things he did to your holy people in Jerusalem. Now he has come here to to Damascus . The leading priests have given him the power to arrest all people who trust in you.”

But the Lord Jesus said to Ananais, “Go ! I have chosen Saul for an important work. I want him to tell other nations, the rulers, and the people of Israel about me. I will show him all that he must suffer for me.”
Acts 9:1-18

This is such an amazing story of a man who was totally against Christians (people that believed that Jesus is the Messiah .) When Saul met Jesus on the road to Damascus (after his resurrection), Saul had a total conversion !!!

Saul started telling everyone about Jesus, that He was the son of God ! Saul spent his whole life preaching to others about The Lord, he was persecuted, put in jail twice and it was believed he died a Martyr’s death for boldly telling others about Jesus !!  He was responsible for writing 13 books in the New Testament.
